Pastor Luke has been at Mt. Zion since 2007. He is a husband to the love of his life, and a father to two amazing daughters! In April of 2018, he transitioned into the role of Lead Pastor and is passionate about making disciples and seeing others take their next steps in Christ.
Clint started working full time for Mt. Zion in 2019, after working in the business field for 10 years. He is passionate about seeing the church achieve its mission by operating effectively and efficiently. Clint is married to his wife Casie and they have two sons, Emory and Wade.
KEITH CARROLLCongregational Care and Missions Pastor
Pastor Keith has served at Mt. Zion since 1995. He rejoices in seeing others come to know Christ in a “real” way. His sweethearts are his wife, Cindy, and his grown daughters Melissa and Meredith. He hates coffee, loves people and would really like to fish more! His driving passions are knowing Christ, loving his family, and caring for others.
Pastor Stephen came to Mt. Zion in the Fall of 1990 as Minister of Music. He met his wife, Jill, his first day on the job and they were married in 1995. Their two boys, Ridge and Lleyton keep them hopping as their spare time is full with baseball, Tae-kwon-do, cello lessons and band.
Pastor Jason has been leading worship since 2003 and is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus. He is married to Amber, and they have two daughters, EmmyLou Maggie Mae. Jason is a lover of Tarheel Basketball and is passionate about connecting with communities through music.
Pastor Brian came to Mt. Zion in 2012 and is passionate about seeing the gospel communicated in the most effective and creative way possible. He is married to his beautiful wife, Johana, and they have one handsome son, Micah. When not serving at the church, they love to take time out to travel to uncharted locations never before seen by the human eye.
Brent joined the Mt. Zion Team in the Fall of 2020. He and his wife Connie are both originally from the Triad, but moved to Nashville after getting married, where they lived for 3 years. In 2019, they welcomed their daughter, Analeigh, into the family. We are blessed to have Brent on the team and are grateful for all he adds to the worship experience at Mt. Zion!
Pastor Stephen joined the Mt. Zion team in August of 2016. He is passionate about creating moments for students to come alive through the power of Christ and to raise up a generation of young leaders. Stephen is married to his best friend and high school sweetheart so they are blessed to share every memory together. The best parts of them both, however, are their boys, Roman and Elias.
Sheri joined the team as our Children’s Ministry Pastor in the fall of 2013. She earned a BA in Elementary Education from High Point University and has spent her life pouring the love of God into kids’ lives. Sheri’s calling is to reach children for God and she is passionate about making sure every kid knows there is a great big God that loves them more than anybody else ever will. Sheri and her husband Derric have two sons and one granddaughter!
Pastor Wilson joined the team as Minister of Senior Adults and Visitation in the summer of 2011. Pastor Wilson studied at Nazarene Theological Seminary and has spent many years pastoring in the NC East District. He and his wife Diane are a precious addition to the staff. Their gentleness and warm spirit is evident to all.
Christy joined the team in 2011, but she grew up attending Mt. Zion. She is happily married to her best friend, Rob, and they have four energetic, fun-loving children – Rylee, Rhyne, Micah and Brenner. Their family loves all things Disney! Christy lives each day to serve God and also enjoys serving the people her job puts her in contact with.
Marvin has a huge heart for serving and has been attending Mt. Zion since 1990. He has also been an active member of the LBA for a number of years. Marvin and his wife, Donna, are extremely proud of their daughter, Julianna, who actively serves in our Student Ministry and on multiple worship teams at Mt. Zion.
After 30+ years traveling the country in industrial sales, Bruce felt God leading him into a counseling ministry, so he returned to school and earned a Master’s degree in Christian counseling. He and his wife of 43 years (Mary) are devoted to helping husbands, wives and children realize the relationships God wants for them. In his free time, Bruce loves to fish!
