Why Does Jesus Matter?
If you’re human, then at some point, you’ve probably struggled in some way to find purpose, answers, and help. Some days are harder than others and it feels like it’s all we can do to stay afloat. And yet, every one of us wants to know that we have what it takes to make it through.
Still, there are deeper questions that plague us. Why am I here? What’s my purpose? What happens to me when I die?
Jesus came to answer these deep, lingering questions that we’ve all had. And He gives us purpose in the present and answers our questions about where we will spend our future.
Jesus Brings Purpose To Your Life
God, the Creator of the universe, brings meaning to your life. He created you with a plan and to fulfill an incredible purpose. But He knows that you can’t do it on your own because of sin. That is why He sent His Son, Jesus.
Romans 5:8 tells us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus paid the penalty that our sins have incurred for us. And because He has paid, he offers us forgiveness. He offers us new life in Himself if we will turn from our sins, trust in Him, and accept this forgiveness!

Dear God, thank you for having greater purposes for my life. I acknowledge that I have failed to live for you on my own and that I have sinned against you. But I believe that Jesus Christ, Your only Son, died to pay for my sins and rose again from the dead so that I could trust in Him as my Savior and have eternal life. I receive Jesus today as my Savior and commit to live the rest of my life for Him and for Your glory! Amen.
