Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

UPDATED: Friday, March 2oth

In light of the heightened awareness and public concern surrounding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to take some time to update you on our response.

Following Governor Roy Cooper’s executive order that bans large public gatherings of 100 or more through March 30th, we have decided to take our services online.

In place of our normal onsite weekend worship services, we will be going live on our website and on Facebook on Sunday morning March 22nd and 29th at 10:30am. We invite you to join us! If you have not yet “liked” Mt. Zion on Facebook, we invite you to do so by going to https://www.facebook.com/mtzionwesleyan.

In this uncertain time, please remember that the primary tactic of the enemy is fear. Yet, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). As a church, we aim to be proactive and use wisdom while continuing to declare the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit in these times.

We will continue to keep you updated about future gatherings as the situation develops. We are so grateful for your patience and flexibility as we monitor the situation in our community.

Thank you for your faithfulness in seeing God’s Kingdom advanced!
