Our Beliefs
We know that what a church believes is extremely important and that it ultimately drives the mission and vision of all we do. That being said, our priority as a church is to believe, teach and live out the Truth that Jesus taught and endorsed. Below, you will find a brief summary of our beliefs, followed by a longer, more detailed downloadable PDF that explains these statements further.
We believe that God is real, all-powerful, all-knowing, and that He loves you infinitely more than you could imagine. He is Trinity, three-in-one: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He created all things that we see and everyone that has ever lived. We believe that all people matter to Him, no matter who they are or what they may be going through. Because everyone has sinned, everyone needs Jesus, God’s Son, who died for our sins, rose again from the dead, and is coming back one day. Salvation comes by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
We believe heaven and hell are real places, as are angels, demons and Satan. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and empowers and gifts us to live and serve. The Bible, God’s Word, is living, active, powerful and true. Baptism is a sacrament in which a believer is immersed in water, not for salvation but to tell the world that we live for Jesus. Communion is also a sacrament in which we are reminded of Jesus’ death. We believe that Jesus started the church before His death, that He protects it through the ages, and has commissioned it to tell the world about Him.
